I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to be a member of TEAM Fitness. The staff are great, the equipment is always up to scratch, and the classes create a community. This place is more than a gym (particularly the corporatised gyms of today) and its because of this that you keep coming back.

I’ve been going to this gym for 25 years. The staff are super friendly. The other members have become friends and the coffee at Hudson’s after a work out always well attended. The social side of exercise is so important and keeps you at it.

Chris and his splendid team have created and sustained a wonderful community at TEAM Fitness, which has only got better as the years have gone by and he's realised, consolidated, and expanded his original vision. It feels like a neighbourhood; but for all the friendly welcome, the spaces are great, the equipment and training options are diverse and first rate, as are the innovative add-on programs like Team X, and resources and facilities, like the massage room, sauna and plunge pool. I can't think of a place I'd rather train or a team I'd rather train with.

I like this gym because it fits my needs more than others in the area. Equipment is a bit old, but functional and adds to the community character. I'd much rather come here than some generic chain. Recovery room is useful too.

The most lovely, supportive, friendly, safe gym around by far. This place is the definition of a community. No showing off, no intimidation. Just friendly people looking after themselves and the people around them. I love that there are multiple rooms instead of one large open space like other gyms. Terrific range of classes too with encouraging and helpful instructors. Nothing bad could be said about this gym.

I’d highly recommend the TEAM Fitness facilities, services and staff at Dickson. This gym makes fitness an option for everybody by providing a range of equipment and classes - from the beginner to the hardcore! Friendly, helpful and knowledge staff top it all off. We love the new sauna and cold plunge facilities too. Best all-rounder gym I’ve been to in Canberra.

I've belonged to a few gyms but Team Fitness is the best by far. If you're interested in the health benefits of training, then this is the place. The trainers are great, there's a wide range of equipment and classes and other gym members are friendly and supportive. There's no need to wear the latest gym fashions.

Best gym, staff and community. I have been a member of TEAM fitness since 2002 and despite having moved to the Southside 5 years ago, refuse to join any other gym. The space is huge, with multiple workout rooms and state of the art equipment. The best part of Team Fitness is the staff and friendliness of fellow patrons. It is a wonderful community to be a part of.

We really enjoy going to this gym. It’s not fancy, but it has everything you need and a great atmosphere. The instructors are highly experienced and always supportive—they help you improve and stay motivated. The other members are friendly and welcoming, which makes it an even better place to train. Highly recommend if you're looking for a solid, no-nonsense gym with a great community.

My wife Helen and I have been members since 2021. From the outside Team Fitness does not appear to be a big gym but like Dr Who’s TARDIS it is bigger on the inside. The layout of the gym has plenty of separate rooms for weight training, cardio, warm up/cool down stretching and recovery with sauna and cold plunge pool. Chris and staff are all friendly and willing to tailor support to your specific short and long term goals. The gym has become part of our daily lives as we chase our fitness and wellbeing goals. Each week with do 6am RPM Spin Classes with instructors Liz and Kat on Wednesday and Friday. We get in four weight training sessions and always have access to equipment as there are multiple areas with the same/similar equipment. At least twice a week we end our session with a sauna which we can book ourselves on Team Fitness app. This gym has allowed us to lose weight and work towards building muscle in a no pressure environment along side other clients who are all friendly and respectful. I feel at Team Fitness you are treated like a friend and not just a number as you might find with larger corporate style gyms. Paul
